Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Web home of the Women of the Church (WOC), REC Diocese of Mid-America. The threefold purpose of the WOC is

  • To unite the women of the church in study and service on behalf of Christs Kingdom

  • To promote the spiritual, educational, and social welfare of the church

  • To increase the knowledge of and service for the work of the Reformed Episcopal Church

Our goal is to make resources available for women to use for their spiritual growth and for the growth of their parishes, and all for the greater glory of God.

Message from our President:

Welcome to our new web site. We pray that it will be used by God to encourage and build us, the Women of the Church, in the faith.  . . . (Read more)

A prayer for Cranmer House:
O God, who through thy Holy Spirit dost illuminate the minds and sanctify the lives of those whom thou dost call to the work of pastors and teachers; Look with favor upon all schools for the instruction and discipline of those who are to serve in the sacred ministry of thy Church. Bless those who teach and those who learn, that they may apply themselves with such diligence to the knowledge which is able to make men wise unto salvation, and submit themselves with such ready obedience to the law of thy Son our Saviour, that they may fulfill their ministry with joy; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.

A prayer for missions:
Almighty God, whose compassions fail not, and whose loving-kindness reacheth unto the world’s end; We give thee humble thanks for opening the nations to the light of thy truth; for making paths in the deep waters and highways in the desert; and for planting thy Church in all the earth. Grant, we beseech thee, unto thy servants who serve thee in foreign lands, that with lively faith and strength from above they may labor abundantly to make known to all men thy blessed gift of eternal life, and unto those who are given the sacred trust of supporting their efforts, that they may pray faithfully, plan effectively, and give sacrificially so that the pure light of thy Gospel may reach all who are made in thy glorious image; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
